2. Quality. We sell the US Battery line which are premier batteries in the golf cart industry. Inventory comes straight from the factory and is constantly rotated. You can count on the freshest battery with new date codes.
3. Convenience. We sell from over 86 locations across the United States. This is great for when you are buying, but our nationwide network also allows us to serve you no matter where your travels take you.
Do you offer discounts on bulk orders?
We realize that battery replacement is not cheap, but by replacing all of the batteries in a golf cart at the same time it allows for maximum performance and longer battery life. Our motto is “Making fun affordable” so we offer our customers a quantity discount of an additional $10 off per battery when they replace their batteries in full sets. (six 6V, six 8V or four 12V).
If you are looking to purchase batteries by the pallet (forty eight 6V/8V or thirty six 12V) for a golf course or other business, we can usually offer an additional discount.

How do I buy batteries through Best Carts?

Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email with contact information for our partner’s nearest branch and then contact them to schedule pick-up.
Prices shown on our website are with an equal core exchange. You will need to bring your core batteries with you, or a core charge will be applied at time of pick up.
If you need help loading/unloading, the team members at the branch will be happy to assist you.
Hours for pick up are Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm.
Do you have these batteries in stock?
Distribution branches are generally well stocked with most common golf cart batteries. In the event that they are not in stock, they can normally have them in within 5-7 business days.
Do you ship batteries?
Golf cart batteries are very heavy and contain acid, making them difficult and expensive to ship. Instead, we offer our customers the opportunity to pick up their batteries at over 86 locations across the United States. For a full list of cities that we offer pick up locations in, see the map on our home page.
Do I need to provide core batteries?
Our prices listed are with equal core exchange, meaning that you will be providing equal golf cart core batteries at time of pickup. If you do not have core batteries, a core charge will be applied at time of pickup. Core prices are set by our distributors and are subject to change without notice, but are typically between $20-$30 per golf cart core.
In order to get full core credit, you will need to bring in equal golf cart core batteries. If you do not have golf cart core batteries, a core credit can be issued for other group sizes (automotive, marine deep cycle, etc.). The per battery value will be determined based on the group core value of the batteries that you provide.
When can I pick up my batteries?
While our local distributors try to keep optimal inventory levels for same day pick up, batteries that are not in stock will be ordered in from their main hub on the next weekly delivery. If the order can not be filled within 5-7 business days then we will issue a full refund.
Branches are open Monday through Friday from 8-4. After checkout, you will receive an email confirmation with your receipt and contact information for the branch to schedule pick up.

How do I know what voltage batteries I need?
Count the number of watering caps on each battery. Each cap is a cell and each cell is equal to 2V (example 3 caps=6V). Most golf carts are 36V or 48V. 36V carts are normally made up of a series of six 6V batteries while 48V carts can be comprised of four 12V batteries or six 8V batteries.
How far can I ride on a single charge?
Golf cart batteries use a universal measurement called amp hours to determine the length of run time that a battery can provide on a single charge. It is nearly impossible to provide a specific distance as there are many variables such as tire size, weight, terrain and even driving style. The higher the amp hour rating the longer you can run per charge.
What kind of warranty do the batteries come with?
Our batteries come with a free replacement warranty provided by our distributor. This means that you will not have to pay any costly pro-rates in the event that there was a manufacturer defect. Our warranties vary between 12-24 months based on distributor and battery model. You can find this information listed on each of the battery listing pages.
Like all battery manufacturers, the warranties cover manufacturer defects only. They will not cover damage resulting from improper installation or failure to properly maintain your batteries. Some of the most common forms of this are broken posts from over-torquing, melted posts from loose terminal connections, failure to maintain proper water levels, freezing resulting from failure to charge batteries in the winter and case damage.
In the event that you have a warranty claim, provide the battery, with original receipt, to the distribution center. They will then check it to ensure that the defect meets their warranty criteria and issue a replacement.
Order cancellation and return policy
Orders cancelled by the customer prior to pick up are subject to a 10% restocking fee. We are not able to accept returns after the customer has taken possession of the batteries.
